    • Avoid picking or pulling the skin that is flaking and peeling

    • Use a hydrating moisturizer in the morning and at night

    • Use a gentle cleanser that does not contain soap, exfoliating or scrubbing beads

Although rare, the following have been known to occur in some individuals: breakouts or acne, rash, dark spots, itching, swelling, bruising or burning. If any of these reactions occur, contact your esthetician or dermatologist immediately.

  • Nano-needling, while generally a safe procedure, has several contraindications. It's not recommended for individuals with active skin infections, open wounds, or certain skin conditions like psoriasis, rosacea, or eczema. Pregnancy, recent Botox or fillers, and blood thinners are also contraindications. Additionally, those with a history of keloid scarring, diabetes, or undergoing cancer treatment should avoid nano-needling.

  • Dermaplaning, while generally safe, has several contraindications. It's crucial to avoid dermaplaning if you have active acne (especially pustules or cystic acne), open wounds or sores, sunburn, or if you are currently using Accutane or have used it in the past six months. Additionally, those with certain skin conditions like dermatitis, rosacea, or eczema, and those with a history of cold sores, should also avoid dermaplaning.
